About Wildlife NY

Wildlife NY is a professional nuisance wildlife control operation serving New York City and Long Island. We are licensed by the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYS DEC) and operate throughout Nassau County, Suffolk County, the five NYC boroughs, Westchester County, and Rockland County.

Our Approach

We believe in solving wildlife conflicts permanently — not just temporarily. Too many wildlife companies focus on short-term trapping without addressing the root cause: the entry points and conditions that attracted wildlife in the first place.

Every job begins with a thorough inspection. We identify every entry point, every potential entry point, and any conditions on the property that are attracting wildlife. We then develop a plan that addresses all of them — not just the symptom you called about.

Humane Methods

All of our methods are humane and compliant with NYS DEC regulations. We use:

• Live cage traps for raccoons, squirrels, and other mammals
• One-way exclusion doors that allow animals to exit but not re-enter
• Exclusion sealing using steel mesh, hardware cloth, and appropriate sealants
• Humane bird deterrent systems (netting, spikes, electric track)
• Attic cleanout and decontamination using proper PPE

NYS DEC Licensing

New York State requires all nuisance wildlife control operators to be licensed by the DEC. Our license covers all species we work with and all counties in our service area. We maintain continuing education and stay current on all NYS regulations regarding wildlife handling, relocation, and exclusion.

We serve 8 counties across New York: Nassau, Suffolk, Bronx, Manhattan, Queens, Brooklyn, Westchester, and Rockland. We maintain technicians in multiple areas to enable same-day service across our entire coverage area.
